Malpractice Is Bad But Can It Be Avoided Or Not?
Most people have various views about malpractice. My side of view is far quite different from how other people see it. But what keep bothering my mind is why people find it difficult to avoid. Must I say it's inevitable? That's an understatement. What if I say somebody invented it? That's kind of awkward I guess.
I remembered vividly one particular exam I was to write, I read burned the midnight candle, went for tutorials and even had group reading among pals. But what happened was unbelievable to me.
I got to the exam hall and most of the things I have read went blank. Omg! I felt like crying but then I pondered within myself
1. Was it the fear for the exam that made me go blank?
2. Was it the distractions from those I saw involved in malpractice?
3. Or perhaps was it that I crammed for the exam?
This three questions was bothering my mind for months and I came up with this suggestions which I tried out and it helped a bit.
1. I avoided cramming and made sure I understood every bit of what I read
2. I prepared ahead for exams. [Most people from research who were involved in malpractice in the past prepared late for exams and had no choice than to cheat in exams] # poor reparation brings poor result.
3. I try to get rid of fear within me for any course. I remembered my last semester exam a particular course ODE(Ordinary Differential Equation) was not too good as I expected because I allowed fear to take over me. Whenever you allow fear, no matter how long you read, while reading your book the word FEAR appears on each line and you hardly understand.
WHAT IS FEAR
F- False.
E- Experience.
A- Appearing.
R- Real.
