BREAKING: City thrash Steaua 5-0 in Champions League playoff

Manchester City on Tuesday night thrashed Steaua Bucharest 5-0 at the National Arena in Romania to secure a comfortable lead ahead of the second leg of the UEFA Champions League.
City’s top striker, Kun Aguero, provided the comic for night with two misses from the penalty spot in the 8th and 20th minutes before redeeming himself with a hat-trick in the 40th, 78th and 89th minutes.
The visitors took the lead in the 13th minute after Raheem Sterling stole the ball from a Steaua defender, he squared back and passed it across for David Silva to fire past Florin Nita.
Aguero got his first goal of the evening five minutes before the break when he swept in a Sterling soft pass into the far corner.
Four minutes into the second half Nolito and Kevin de Bruyne combined inside the box. The German jabbed a pass to City’s new signing who sidestepped the keeper and tapped home his first goal for the club.
Aguero compounded the hosts misery on the 79th minute. The Argentine exchanged passes with Nolito before crashing a shot past Nita to make it 4-0. He added his third minutes before the end of the game.
