Chelsea have not given up on signing Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli, according to calciomercato.it.
Antonio Conte is understood to have upped his bid for the centre-back to €50m (£43.4m).
The Blues have been tracking the centre-back all summer and they are now ready to firm up their interest
Napoli want to keep hold of Koulibaly and are reportedly willing to offer him a new contract, regardless of whether the player intends to sign one Koulibaly made 33 top flight appearances last term.He has a further three years left to run on his current deal in Naples.
