Jose Mourinho advises Mario Balotelli on Championship move

In one of the crazier rumors of this transfer window, Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli is being tipped to drop out of the Premier League and join Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers on the advice of Jose Mourinho.

Balotelli, who signed two summers ago for a reported £16 million, has no future at Anfield under Jurgen Klopp and is yet to find a club willing to hand him an escape route -- but that could be about to change.

The Daily Express reckons Balotelli has spoken to Mourinho, who has advised him that looking below the Premier League could be a good option to get his career back on track.

And Wolves, managed by Inter Milan legend Walter Zenga, are lining up an audacious move for the Italian after recently being taken over by Chinese investors.

Liverpool already got some good news on Thursday when Crystal Palace reportedly had a £32m bid for Christian Benteke accepted.
